Cajun Garlic Butter Sauce

A flavorful Cajun garlic butter sauce perfect for seafood, pasta, and veggies, bringing bold Southern flair to your meals.

  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat slowly to avoid browning.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Add the Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and salt; stir continuously to blend.
  4. Drizzle in the lemon juice for freshness.
  5. Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes, taste and adjust seasoning as needed, then remove from heat and garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week. Reheat on low heat, adding a splash of water or lemon juice if it thickens too much.
