Cream Cheese Banana Bread

A moist and fluffy banana bread that combines the richness of cream cheese for a deliciously tangy treat.

  • 3 very ripe bananas
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: vanilla or nuts

Instructions

  1. Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Mix in the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Add in sugar and eggs, and stir until combined.
  4. Gradually add in the flour, baking soda, and salt, folding until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a lined loaf pan.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

For added flavor, feel free to mix in some nuts or a dash of vanilla extract. Can be frozen for later enjoyment.
