Air Fryer Chicken Cordon Bleu

A no-fry, easier version of the classic Chicken Cordon Bleu made in an air fryer for a crispy, cheesy delight.

Ingredients

  • 23 chicken breasts, sliced in half
  • Thin-cut deli ham
  • Swiss cheese (or mozzarella)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Lay a piece of chicken flat between plastic wrap and gently pound it out.
  2. Sprinkle with seasonings, then lay on a slice of ham and cheese.
  3. Roll the chicken up tight and secure with a toothpick if needed.
  4. Dip the rolled chicken in flour, then beaten egg, and then breadcrumbs.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 380°F and cook chicken for 15-18 minutes, checking at 10 minutes.
  6. Let rest for a few minutes before removing toothpicks and serving.

Notes

Can be made gluten-free by using gluten-free breadcrumbs and flour. Adaptable for various dietary preferences.
