Healthy Blueberry Crisp

This Healthy Blueberry Crisp is a guilt-free dessert bursting with juicy blueberries and topped with a golden, crunchy oat-almond topping. Naturally sweetened and made with wholesome ingredients, it’s perfect for breakfast or a light treat any time of the day.

  • For the filling:

    • 4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries

    • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey

    • 1 tbsp lemon juice

    • 1 tbsp arrowroot powder or cornstarch

    • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • For the topping:

    • 1 cup rolled oats

    • ½ cup almond flour

    • ¼ cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)

    • 3 tbsp coconut oil or butter, melted

    • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey

    • ½ tsp vanilla extract

    • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • In a mixing bowl, combine blueberries, maple syrup, lemon juice, arrowroot powder, and cinnamon. Toss to coat evenly.

  • Pour the blueberry mixture into a greased 8×8-inch baking dish.

  • In another bowl, mix oats, almond flour, nuts, coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt until crumbly.

  • Sprinkle the topping evenly over the blueberry filling.

  • Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling.

  • Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm or chilled.
