Lemonade Scones

Fast and foolproof Lemonade Scones made with just three ingredients for a soft and fluffy treat.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups self-raising flour
  • 1 cup thickened cream
  • 1 cup lemonade

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (about 390°F).
  2. Dump the flour into a big bowl.
  3. Pour in the cream, then the lemonade.
  4. Stir until there are no more dry bits.
  5. Flour your work surface generously and tip out the sticky dough.
  6. Press the dough down to about an inch thick.
  7. Use a glass, cutter, or mug to cut out rounds and place them on a lined baking tray.
  8. Bake for 14 to 16 minutes until golden on top and soft underneath.
  9. Serve while warm with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Great served with jam and cream, butter and lemon curd, or fresh berries.
