  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sweetener (erythritol or preferred sugar substitute)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup almond milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line an 8-inch round pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, sweetener, melted butter, vanilla, and almond milk until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool before frosting.
