Air-Fried Chicken Calzone

A quick and easy recipe for delicious air-fried chicken calzones, perfect for using up leftovers and customizable to your taste.

  • 1 package store-bought pizza dough
  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or egg (for brushing)
  • Optional fillings: spinach, roasted veggies, ricotta, cheddar, blue cheese, buffalo sauce, garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Let the pizza dough sit on the counter for 30 minutes.
  2. Roll the dough out into a rough circle.
  3. Pile on the fillings: shredded chicken, cheese, and a spoonful of sauce.
  4. Fold the dough in half and pinch the edges shut with fingers or a fork.
  5. Brush the top with olive oil or egg.
  6. Air fry at 370°F for 8-10 minutes until golden.
  7. Check halfway to ensure it’s cooking evenly.
