Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 4 pieces skinless chicken breasts Use skinless for best results
  • 1/2 cup apricot jam Can substitute with peach or orange marmalade
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Adds saltiness and depth of flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard Gives a tangy flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper To taste
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Optional, for extra flavor

Method

Preparation
  1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
  2. In a bowl, mix apricot jam, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard to create the glaze.
  3. Brush chicken with the glaze before placing it in the air fryer.
Cooking
  1. Cook at 380°F (195°C) for 10 minutes.
  2. Flip the chicken, brush with additional glaze, and cook for another 5-8 minutes, checking the internal temperature to ensure it’s juicy and cooked through.
  3. Let chicken rest for a few minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute.

Notes

Consider swapping chicken breasts for thighs or pork chops. Add red pepper flakes for heat or use other jams like peach or orange. Make sure to dry chicken to help the glaze stick.
