Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts Trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For cooking and coating the Brussels sprouts
  • 1 teaspoon Granulated garlic For seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper Freshly cracked for seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic glaze For drizzling before serving
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese Freshly grated for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash and trim the Brussels sprouts, removing any damaged outer leaves.
  2. Pat the sprouts completely dry to avoid sogginess during cooking.
  3. Cut each sprout in half vertically to create a flat surface.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, granulated garlic, and black pepper until well coated.
  3. Place the Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Cook for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  5. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, drizzle with balsamic glaze and return to the air fryer.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

For best results, avoid overcrowding the basket, and consider cooking in batches if necessary. Feel free to add diced pancetta or bacon bits for added flavor.
