  • 2–3 pieces chicken breasts, sliced in half Use chicken cutlets to save on pounding.
  • 0.5 cup flour For dredging the chicken.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs For a crunchy coating.
  • 2 pieces eggs Beaten for dipping the chicken.
  • thin-cut deli ham Can be substituted with turkey.
  • Swiss or mozzarella cheese Select based on preference.
  • to taste garlic powder, salt, pepper Classic seasonings.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Lay a piece of chicken flat between plastic wrap and gently pound it out.
  2. Sprinkle with seasonings, then lay on a slice of ham and cheese.
  3. Roll the chicken up tight and secure with a toothpick if needed.
  4. Dip the rolled chicken in flour, then beaten egg, and then breadcrumbs.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 380°F.
  6. Cook chicken for 15-18 minutes, checking at 10 minutes.
  7. Let rest for a few minutes before removing toothpicks and serving.

Notes

Can be made gluten-free using gluten-free breadcrumbs and flour. Adaptable for various dietary preferences.
