For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Boneless and skinless preferred

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice or vinegar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or longer in the fridge.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Remove chicken from the marinade and let excess liquid drip off.
  3. Place chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  4. Cook for 10 to 18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  5. Let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes before serving to lock in moisture.

Notes

Be cautious with sugary marinades, as they can burn quickly. It’s best to apply any sweet glaze in the last minute of cooking to avoid charring. Always use a meat thermometer for best results.
