Preparation
  1. Toast the orzo in a skillet with a little oil over medium heat until slightly golden.
  2. In the same skillet, sear the diced chicken until golden brown on all sides. Avoid crowding the pan.
  3. Add the spices (cayenne, paprika, thyme, oregano) to the chicken and cook for an additional minute to release their flavors.
Cooking
  1. Pour the chicken broth into the skillet, followed by the toasted orzo. Bring to a simmer.
  2. Stir frequently to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.
  3. Once the orzo absorbs most of the broth, lower the heat and add the cream, stirring until well combined.
  4. Finish with lemon juice and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Notes

Serve with a crisp green salad and warm crusty bread to balance the rich flavors. Adjust spice levels according to preference.
