- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat slowly to avoid browning.
- Once melted, toss in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and salt; stir continuously to blend.
- Drizzle in the lemon juice for freshness.
- Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes, taste and adjust seasoning as needed, then remove from heat and garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week. Reheat on low heat, adding a splash of water or lemon juice if it thickens too much. This sauce is versatile and can be poured over seafood, used as a dipping sauce, or tossed in pasta and vegetables.
