  • 1 cup rolled oats (blended into a fine powder)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs Room temperature
  • 2 tbsp honey Secret ingredient for moisture
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Mix-ins
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chunks

Preparation
  1. Prepare the Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, blended oats, baking soda, and salt.
  2. Cream the Butter and Sugars: Using a mixer, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add Honey, Eggs, and Vanilla: Mix in honey, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in Chocolate Chunks: Gently mix in the semi-sweet and milk chocolate chunks.
  6. Chill the Dough: Refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes.
Baking
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes.
  2. Cool and Enjoy: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

Use high-quality chocolate for best results. Don’t overbake to retain the chewy texture.
