- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually blend in the dry mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
Baking
- Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned.
- Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
