Ingredients

  • 2 cups good quality chocolate (dark, milk, or white) Use chocolate chips, bars, or wafers.
For Toppings (customize to preference)
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries Great for a fruity and tangy contrast.
  • 1/4 cup toasted almonds Adds nutty crunch.
  • 1/4 cup mini marshmallows Use for a sweet and decorative touch.
  • 1/4 cup heart-shaped sprinkles Perfect for Valentine's Day theme.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Melt the chocolate carefully in a double boiler or microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate onto the lined baking sheet and spread it evenly to about 1/4 inch thick.
Adding Toppings
  1. While the chocolate is still soft, sprinkle your desired toppings evenly over the surface.
  2. Press the toppings gently into the chocolate.
Setting
  1. Transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator and let the chocolate set for 30-60 minutes until completely firm.
Serving
  1. Once set, break the chocolate into pieces and serve or package for gifting.
