  • 1 tbsp sugar For sweetness.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Adds flavor.
  • ½ cup chopped fresh strawberries Can be adjusted based on preference.
For the Sandwich Assembly
  • 8 slices white sandwich bread
  • ¼ cup milk Adds creaminess to the dip.
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional) For added flavor.
  • 2 tbsp sugar (for cinnamon-sugar coating) Optional for extra sweetness.
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (optional for extra crunch) Use for a crunchier texture.
  • Butter or oil for frying Use any preferred frying fat.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in chopped strawberries.
  2. Spread the filling on 4 slices of bread. Top with the remaining slices to form sandwiches. Gently press edges to seal.
Frying
  1. In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk. Dip each sandwich in the mixture, making sure both sides are well coated. Optionally, coat with breadcrumbs for extra crisp.
  2. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry sandwiches 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
Serving
  1. Mix cinnamon and sugar. Sprinkle over hot sandwiches or dust with powdered sugar.
  2. Slice in halves or quarters. Serve warm with extra strawberries or syrup if desired.
