  • 1 pack Pizza Dough or Crescent Roll Dough Your wrapping hero.
  • Salt and Pepper Basic but essential.
  • Italian Seasoning or Taco Seasoning Depending on your flavor profile.
  • 1 Egg (for egg wash) For that shiny, golden finish.

Method
 

Cooking the Filling
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned, then drain excess fat.
  4. Allow the beef mixture to cool slightly, then mix in shredded cheese.
Assembling the Roll
  1. Roll out the dough and spread beef and cheese mixture down the center.
  2. Fold the sides of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
  3. Place the roll seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with egg wash.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature is at least 160°F (71°C).

For a gluten-free option, use certified gluten-free dough. To store leftovers, keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
