Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and lay the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Layer the sliced ham and cheese on the bottom halves of the rolls.
Making the Glaze
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and poppy seeds.
- Brush the glaze generously over the top of the rolls.
Baking
- Cover the baking dish loosely with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes until the tops are golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Remove the foil for the last 5 minutes of baking for extra crispness.
Notes
Feel free to add fig jam or apple butter for a sweet twist. For a spicier version, consider jalapeños or hot sauce in your glaze.
