Ingredients
  

For the filling
  • 4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp arrowroot powder or cornstarch
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
For the topping
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil or butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine blueberries, maple syrup, lemon juice, arrowroot powder, and cinnamon. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. Pour the blueberry mixture into a greased 8×8-inch baking dish.
Topping Preparation
  1. In another bowl, mix oats, almond flour, nuts, coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt until crumbly.
  2. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the blueberry filling.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling.
  2. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm or chilled.
