  • 2 pounds sirloin or stew meat, cut into bite-sized chunks Sirloin is preferred, but stew meat will work.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Use good quality butter for a luscious flavor.
  • 8 cloves garlic, minced Peeled and finely chopped.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika or chili powder (optional) For added spice.
  • 1 sprig fresh parsley for garnish (optional) Used for presentation.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Chop the beef into bite-sized chunks, about the size of a ping-pong ball.
  2. Peeled and finely chop the garlic.
  3. Melt the butter in the microwave until just soft.
  4. Toss the beef, garlic, melted butter, salt, pepper, and spices into the slow cooker and stir well.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours.
  2. Serve hot, optionally drizzled with the garlic butter juices.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different cuts of meat or add soy sauce for extra flavor. These beef bites are excellent for meal prep and can be frozen for later.
