Ingredients
  

For the Dough
  • 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup warm milk (110°F)
  • 0.25 cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg
For the Filling
  • 0.5 cup strawberry preserves or jam
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 0.33 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
For the Cheesecake Glaze
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk

Method
 

Make the Dough
  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, salt, and 3 cups of flour. Mix until combined, then knead until smooth, adding more flour as needed.
  3. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
Prepare Filling
  1. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese with brown sugar and cinnamon until smooth.
Assemble Rolls
  1. Roll dough into a large rectangle (about 14×10 inches). Spread cream cheese mixture evenly, then layer strawberry preserves on top.
  2. Roll up tightly from the long side and cut into 9–12 rolls.
Second Rise
  1. Place rolls in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise for 30–45 minutes.
Bake
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 22–25 minutes until golden brown.
Make Glaze
  1. Whisk together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
Glaze & Serve
  1. Spread glaze over warm rolls and enjoy immediately!
