Preparation
- Wash and dry the spring mix and wrap in paper towels to keep crisp.
- Thinly slice red onions and soak them in ice water for 10 minutes.
- If using raw almonds, toast them in a pan until golden.
Dressing
- In a bowl, combine mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), poppy seeds, apple cider vinegar, and sugar. Whisk together until smooth.
Assembly
- Combine spring mix, strawberries, feta, red onions, candied pecans (or toasted almonds), and dried cranberries in a large salad bowl.
- Drizzle dressing over the salad just before serving and toss gently.

For a make-ahead option, keep wet and dry ingredients separate until serving.
