Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey choose your favorite
  • 1 packet taco seasoning or homemade
  • 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 can corn drained
  • 1 cup salsa or diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups crushed Doritos or Fritos
  • 1/2 cup sour cream optional
Toppings
  • Chopped lettuce
  • tomatoes
  • olives
  • jalapeños for topping
  • Green onions and cilantro for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground meat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add taco seasoning, a splash of water, corn, and black beans. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Assembly
  1. Layer crushed chips on the bottom of a greased 9×13” baking dish.
  2. Pour the meat mixture over the chips and spread evenly.
  3. Top with salsa and shredded cheese.
Baking
  1. Bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  3. Add your favorite cold toppings and serve immediately.
