Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out your pizza crust onto a baking tray or pizza stone.
- Spread an even layer of pizza sauce over the crust.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
Creating the web
- Pull apart string cheese or cut block mozzarella into strips.
- Lay strips starting from the center of the pizza, moving outward like bicycle spokes. Connect them with curved strips for a web design.
- Slice olives in half to use as bodies for the spiders, and smaller bits for the legs. Press them onto the web as desired.
Baking
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are golden.
Notes
Leftovers should be stored in a tightly sealed container in the fridge. Warm in a toaster oven for best texture. Customize with gluten-free crusts, vegan cheese, or any preferred toppings. Prepare the web ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to bake.
